Flipkart Glam Up Fest: Celebrities, Influencers, and Industry Leaders Unite in Mumbai

Flipkart, India’s homegrown e-commerce marketplace, launched the Glam Up Fest in Mumbai today, bringing together celebrities, influencers, brands, and industry experts. The event saw attendance from stars like Parineeti Chopra, Kajal Aggarwal, Krystle D’Souza, and Bhuvan Bam, along with over 300 influencers walking the purple carpet. Highlights included the grand unveilings of ‘Kajal’ by Kajal Aggarwal and ‘BB Range’ by Bhuvan Bam, adding glamour to the festivities. Panel discussions offered insights into India’s beauty landscape.

The event featured experiential zones showcasing contemporary technology-led features such as Virtual Try On and Skin Analyser. A dedicated zone for influencer participation included activities like a makeover booth, adding excitement and fun. Renowned industry experts such as Mohit Yadav (Founder, Minimalist), Meghna Apparao (Director – E-commerce, Meta India), Ketki Paranjpe (Partner, Sixth Sense Ventures), Rohit Shankar (Partner, Bain & Company), Jaime Del Valle Sansierra (SVP Business Development & Partnerships at MODIFACE at L’Oreal), David Thiebaud (General Manager Consumer Experiences, L’Oreal India), and Sukhleen Aneja (CEO), along with Aakash Anand (Founder and CEO, IDAM House of Brands, Good Glamm Group) and Flipkart leaders Sankalp Mehrotra (Vice President) and Bharath Ram (Senior Vice-President, User Acquisition and Retention) shared their insights during the event.

The Glam Up Sale, live from 16th to 18th June on the Flipkart app, featured a wide array of curated cosmetics, skincare, and more. Over 40 brands participated, offering beauty and personal care products, including cosmetics, skincare, and hair care, to millions of customers. With technology-led features like Virtual Try On and Skin Analyser, supported by a robust supply chain catering to all serviceable pin codes in India, the event aimed to connect with beauty enthusiasts nationwide.

Premium and D2C brands, including MyGlamm, Secret Temptation, L`Oreal, Lakmé, Mamaearth, Minimalist, The Man Company, and Yardley London, offered great deals on the popular e-commerce platform.
