Having spent over 2 decades in the culinary industry as a Chef, Food Sufi, Restaurateur and Author, Chef Ranveer Brar has finally come up with a food application in association with Hungama. The App, named after Chef, is summarised chronicles of the Chef’s travels and discoveries across the globe giving users an insight into his experiences and creations via recipes.

It can be easily said that the app is basically a convergence of 20+ years of Chef Ranveer’s culinary career at your fingertips.

Keeping pace with food trends, recipes and thrilling journeys across India discovering flavors and cultures, this application serves as a one-stop shop for all your culinary needs with over a thousand recipes to suit your preferences and needs.

Great for a variety of diets and quick recipes, the app gives a step-by-step breakdown of each technique and measures of ingredients. Nicknamed #24X7 Ranveer, this is one of the best ways to keep tabs on our most-loved Chef, virtually.

“In this modern fast-paced virtual world, it is only food that can bring us back closer together. I am doing my bit to bring cooking closer to anyone who wishes to dabble in it, from a novice to a gourmand. This is a treasure chest, alcove even, of my learnings over the years and recipes from across Indian shores. I hope these help you share a meal with me and get a glimpse of my kitchen,” mentions Ranveer Brar.

The app’s interface displays a number of features namely the ‘Food Mat’, ‘Recipes’, ‘Search’, ‘Diaries’, ‘About Me’ sections. For someone who prefers a specific cuisine like ‘Regional Food’, ‘Street Food’ or even ‘Homemade Food’, the Food Mat gives you the option to look at recipes from that category. For a diet conscious individual, or someone with allergies, the Food Mat helps you out with dishes across categories like ‘Gluten Free’, ‘Lactose Free’, ‘Nut Free’, and ‘Healthy Food’.

In addition to these, the Food Mat also helps you dive into the world of Chef Ranveer’s distinct (RB) Diet Plan. For folks who aren’t necessarily gym freaks and keen on exercising to manage weight, they can subscribe to the RB diet. Once you do, you’re open to follow the daily nutritional regimen to be fitter without having to work out vigorously.

The Diary section takes you through the Chef’s culinary journey via almost 100 videos of his travels in which Chef shares his journeys with all the users of the app. So the next time you’re on the lookout for new places to visit, you can take cues from Chef Ranveer’s app and plan your next trip with details of where to go and what to eat from the most reliable source.

The in-depth ‘About Me’ section acquaints you with the chef virtually with some never heard before food trivia and FAQ’s about Chef and his preferences.

Speaking about the app, Siddhartha Roy, COO, Hungama Digital Media said, “At Hungama, we have always believed in creating enriching experiences for users. The app combines the product capabilities of Hungama with the expertise and nuance of Chef Ranveer, making it a delightful experience for food lovers. We are certain that the users will enjoy exploring the chef’s recipes while appreciating the app’s clean interface and special features.”

Another interesting association of the RB app is with Amazon Alexa Cooking Skill wherein you get access to 250 of Chef’s popular recipes on the Ranveer Brar Cooking Skill with an exclusive ‘Cooking Tip Of The Day’.

Alexa Ranveer Brar Recipes Skill is the most convenient, hands-free and foolproof way to ensure that the next meal you cook is delicious, exciting and will perfectly satisfy your food craving. You can search for recipes across borders with a step by step guidance from Alexa on the best way to make them. All you have to do is tell the Ranveer Brar Cooking Skill what you would like to cook and it will reply with a set of appropriate recipe options.

Once you select the recipe, the skill will run you through a brief description of the recipe, following which it will tell you the ingredients in their exact quantities. The skill then gives you a detailed explanation of how to make the selected recipe with helpful tips.

If you miss out on anything, you can just say the word Repeat and the recipe will rewind resulting in efficient cooking. You can also go back to the main menu with the easy to use options.

The application is live and available for download on Android and iOS.
