Like every year, Diwali vacation brings in the excitement of the outdoor and fun times with friends and family.
YMCA, the popular youth center has scheduled the annual Winter trip to Camp Nilshi, which is approx 145 km from Mumbai. The drive makes it more pleasurable in the company of like-minded people coming together raring to experience nature in all its glory.
This year too, the camp offers a 4-days camp starting November 3rd to 6th, 2018 for kids aged between 8 to 17 years old.
Camping has been a major attraction for hundreds of children and young people. Nature, open spaces, living in tents, community living and activities, and adventure, sports, and games – the benefits from camping activities have been many and varied. With the newly developed Camp Lakeside at Nilshi, the entire camping and leadership development programme has taken a giant step forward.
Camping Activities which will be conducted are Trekking, Rock Climbing, Rappeling, Kayaking, Swimming, Campouts, Cookouts, Archery, Target Shooting, Mountain Biking, Personality Development Session, Stargazing Group Activities and Games and many more.
It’s time we allow the children to experience the fun way of learning and growing by disconnecting with technology and reuniting with Nature.
