Mumbai’s fashion elite gathered in full splendour for the opening night of Global India Couture Week (GICW) Mumbai, where celebrated designer Rohit Verma unveiled his breathtaking collection, Mystical Garden. With the city’s glitterati and couture lovers filling the venue, the evening set a new benchmark in glamour, style, and storytelling through fashion.
Dazzling Showstoppers and Star Power
The show was nothing short of spectacular, featuring 101 models who transformed the ramp into a fantasy world inspired by bioluminescent flora, celestial fireflies, and the divine energy of forgotten deities. The runway shimmered with ethereal silhouettes, luminous fabrics, and intricate embroidery — each creation carrying the aura of myth, memory, and imagination. The audience was transported into Verma’s dreamlike narrative, where every garment told a story and every step evoked magic.

The highlight of the evening was the stunning presence of Diana Penty and Maniesh Paul, who took to the runway as the showstoppers, exuding unmatched elegance and charm. Adding to the fantasy, Anuradha Garg (Mr. Globe 2025) and Pooja Walia (Mr. Globe Curve 2025) walked the ramp in Verma’s couture, radiating confidence and redefining beauty standards.
The runway also featured prominent faces including Anupama Verma, Aditi Govitrikar, Mrudula Choudhary, Sucheta Sharma, Seema Shetty, Sarah Afreen Khan, Vahbiz Dorabjee, Reshma Bombaywala and many more, each bringing Verma’s vision of a mystical world alive.

Rohit Verma on His Inspiration shared :
“Mystical Garden is my canvas of dreams. I wanted to transport people into a parallel universe where fashion becomes an expression of poetry and spirituality. Each silhouette is inspired by the glow of bioluminescent flora, the dance of celestial fireflies, and the divine energy of forgotten deities. Through this collection, I wish to remind the world that beauty is not only what we see, it is what we feel, what we imagine, and what we dare to dream. Mystical Garden is my heartfelt attempt to make every garment a living tale of love, fantasy, and light.”
