Mumbai’s most enduring ghazal festival is back.
The 24th edition of Khazana – A Festival of Ghazals will take place on July 18 and 19, 2025, at the Trident Hotel, Nariman Point.
What began as a heartfelt initiative by the late Pankaj Udhas ji has grown into a powerful blend of music and social impact. This year’s festival continues to support the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) and the Parents Association Thalassemic Unit Trust (PATUT).
Khazana is known not just for its lineup but for its purpose. Over the years, it has brought together some of India’s finest artists to raise funds and awareness, while keeping the ghazal genre relevant and respected. This year’s edition will feature a special tribute to musical greats Mohammed Rafi and Ustad Zakir Hussain, along with live performances by acclaimed artists such as Anup Jalota, Talat Aziz, Rekha Bhardwaj, and Rakesh Chaurasia.
Set within the refined ambience of one of Mumbai’s top venues, the event promises an intimate and well-curated experience, with food and beverages included as part of the evening.
The performances, set against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea, promise a soulful mix of nostalgia and new interpretations—perfect for those who appreciate the craft of music and poetry.
