The Grand Parade hosted by the popular toy-store brand Hamleys at the Regent Street in London has always been the much talked and attended family outing. So it was not surprising to note that families with kids especially made a beeline to Mumbai’s landmark High Street Phoenix at Lower Parel where the parade was to take place for the very first time in India.
Hamleys Mumbai and most specially the High Street Phoenix store opened door to the families to witness this parade replicated with almost all the popular cartoon characters at play at the parade.
We saw Ben 10, Doraemon, Garfield, Peppa Pig, Johnny Bravo, Chota Bheem, Tom & Jerry, Masha and the Bear, several cartoon mascots interacting with the kids and families.
Families were seen coming together to sing, dance and click photos with their favourite cartoon.
Jeehan too seemed super delighted to catch a bevy of his favourites all together in one parade. He obviously was more delighted to walk the talk with these mascots and happily shook hands and waved to them.
Besides the mascots, we also saw a live marching band at the parade. It was truly a magical moment for all !
