An unmissable celebration of design, culture, and creativity at Jio World Garden, BKC, from September 25–28, 2025.
Mumbai’s cultural calendar is about to witness a showstopper. From September 25–28, 2025, India Design ID Mumbai returns to the lush Jio World Garden, BKC, bringing with it an unparalleled celebration of design, innovation, and creativity. The fair opens with an exclusive VIP Preview on September 25th, followed by three vibrant public days.
This year’s theme, The Age of Design Syncretism, reflects the spirit of the event—bridging heritage and modernity, craftsmanship and innovation, India and the world. More than just a design showcase, India Design ID has evolved into a cultural platform that inspires dialogue, fosters collaboration, and celebrates the power of creativity.
ID Exhibit – A Showcase of Craftsmanship & Innovation
The centerpiece of the fair, the ID Exhibit, brings together 120+ leading luxury brands from India and across the globe. Expect an extraordinary mix of furniture, décor, lighting, interiors, and accessories from names such as Asian Paints, Nilaya, Kohler, Nexion, Sansaar (a D’Decor brand), Ligne Roset, Natuzzi Italia, Scarlet Splendour, Atelier Ashiesh Shah, Pinakin Studio, Gulmohar Lane, Ravi Vazirani Design Studio, Temple Town, and Jaipur Rugs.
What to Explore at ID Exhibit:

ID Symposium – A Global Design Dialogue
The ID Symposium has become one of the fair’s most engaging highlights. This year, it will feature 30+ leading architects, designers, and creative thinkers from India and around the world. Expect dynamic solo talks, insightful panel discussions, and interactive dialogues centered around the festival’s theme.
The ID Symposium at India Design ID Mumbai 2025 will feature some of the most influential names in architecture and design. International voices include Ricardo Bofill of Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, carrying forward his firm’s postmodern legacy, and Valérie Maltaverne, Founder of Paris-based YMER&MALTA, known for transforming traditional craftsmanship into contemporary collectible design.
From India, the lineup includes PK Das of PKDA Architects, a pioneer of democratic urban planning, Nuru Karim of NUDES, whose practice merges art and computational design, and Sussanne Khan, Founder of The Charcoal Project, celebrated for her bold and imaginative interiors. Also joining are conservation expert Vikas Dilawari, infrastructure visionary Ratan J Batliboi, craft-focused designer Rooshad Shroff, and Kohelika Kohli of K2India, known for her work across luxury, furniture, and heritage restoration.
From exploring craftsmanship vs. technology to debating local vs. global influences, the symposium promises to be a thought-leadership platform where ideas meet innovation.
ID Special Project – NEO DECO
Curated by Misha Bains, Fair Director of India Design ID, the ID Special Project: NEO DECO takes center stage this year. Marking the centenary of Art Deco, this exhibition reimagines Deco motifs, geometries, and materials through contemporary design.
With over 40 contemporary objets d’art from Indian and international ateliers, NEO DECO creates a dialogue across time, blending nostalgia with modern sensibilities in a gallery-like experience.
