Each year around the world, New Year’s Day is celebrated with much fervour and pomp. With the ongoing pandemic, house parties and small groups gatherings have become the new cool to bring in 2021! Here are a few tips to get you started to make this New Year’s eve a rollicking affair.
1. Decide a Theme.
While it isn’t essential, choosing a theme can only add to the fun to your party. With a theme, you get a central idea to focus all aspects of the party on. Keep it simple or add the glitz and glamour. Get everyone involved in establishing the theme for the party in advance (live it up with a Capital ‘L’), add masks, fun hats, fairy lights, Disco balls, candles, party poppers, confetti, whatever makes you happy. Make some noise as you ring in the New Year (literally speaking)!
2. Dress Up For the Occassion

And who says you cannot Dress Up for the occassion even if it is a family gathering. Don your best go the whole way and make it extra-ordinarily special. Don’t forget the mask if you want to add a dash of mystery (for all the romantics at heart) . When each guest is dressed for the occassion it give the party a fun atmosphere.
3. Set the The Mood going with some good lighting

Disco balls, fairy lights, balloons, candles – set the mood with the right ambience as you get it all ready for when the clock strikes to bring in the New Year!
4. Cook or Bake together as a family

How much fun it is to get together as the family puts up a meal for the night ahead, bake a cake, whip up your favourite dessert or snack. Relish the time of togetherness. Yes! get the kids involved too….
5. Make It A Night To Remember with Music and Dancing

SING-A-LONGS couldn’t be made any sweeter when you in chorus or going solo. Sing and Dance and enjoy the moment. Tomorrow will indeed bring its own something.
6. Kids @Home – all the more Merrier

Get the young ones involved in your celebrations. Break the monotony with few fun activities and games. If you have younger kids and have to put them to sleep early, pick a country in another part of the world like Australia, Malysia, or Japan and bring in the celebrations early with them.
7. Attend a Virtual Event
Around the world virtual events are doing the round, bringing in people together as they countdown to a new beginning. Join in the fun and dancing and music with your loved ones. As an added bonus remember any ticket sale will help to keep the bar, restaurant and entertainment industry alive.
8. . . and The Clock Strikes 12!

READY – SET – GO ! Pop the champagne bottle or the party poppers, make some noise. Laugh out Loud. A New Year marks a new beginning. You can celebrate the beginning of 2020
9. Raise A Toast!

Don’t forget to get everyone involved with a small toast of thanks for the year that went by. For a memorable New Year Eve toast, inspire and encourage your family with quotes on continued good health & prosperity, personal growth and joy for all.
